After the sale of NHPC shares, LIC&#8217;s shareholding in the company has come down to 5.2 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>The Country&#8217;s largest insurer said that its shareholding in NHPC has diluted from 72,62,11,315 to 52,26,11,195 equity shares, decreasing the shareholding from 7.230 per cent to 5.203 per cent of the paid-up capital of the company, LIC said in a regulatory filing.<\/p>\n<p>As per the regulatory filing, the state-owned insurer sold 20,36,00,120 shares of the company at an average price of Rs 34.42 apiece from March 17, 2022 to October 18, 2022.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) has informed that it has sold share worth Rs 700.79 crore of hydro power generator NHPC between March and October this year.
