{"id":517772,"date":"2022-08-29T11:07:04","date_gmt":"2022-08-29T05:37:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/infralive.com\/web\/?p=517772"},"modified":"2022-08-29T12:56:41","modified_gmt":"2022-08-29T07:26:41","slug":"ntpc-lara-gets-environment-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/infralive.com\/web\/ntpc-lara-gets-environment-award\/","title":{"rendered":"NTPC Lara gets Environment Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The National Thermal Power Corp (NTPC) super thermal power plant at Lara in Chhattisgarh&#8217;s Raigarh district bagged the \u201cPlatinum Award\u201d for Environment Preservation at the 12th EXCEED Environment Award held at Jammu on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Minister of State (Independent) for Science and Technology and Earth Sciences Jitendra Singh   handed over the award to    Dr. Sudhir Dahiya, Assistant General Manager (EMG), NTPC Lara.<\/p>\n<p>The Lara station is one of the new generation power  stations of NTPC Ltd, having the first ever 800 MW Super Critical technology.<\/p>\n<p>Several measures for preservation of water and protection of the environment have been taken up by the power station.
