HYDERABAD: After the recent hike in tariffs, a fresh power shock is in store for electricity consumers.
\nThe two discoms in the state are now gearing up to collect 4,092 crore as true-up charges for the past 15 years. And the worst-hit would be those living in rented houses as they would have to pay up for power consumed by previous tenants.
\nTrue-up charges are collected to fill the gap in power supply, and billed amount and collection.
