New Delhi: In a move aimed at promoting \u2018green fuel\u2019, Delhi Development Authority (DDA) on Wednesday granted approval to set up electric vehicle (EV) charging stations on already allotted sites for petrol and diesel, and CNG fuel stations and levy a lower licence fee.
\nDuring the authority\u2019s meeting chaired by lieutenant governor VK Saxena, the proposal to levy lower annual licence fee was taken, with incentives calculated with respect to a petrol and diesel fuel station on a 1,080 square metre site that comes to more than Rs 53 lakh.
\nIn case CNG stations with EV charging stations are operated, the licence fee on the same site will come to around Rs 43.5 lakh, due to an 18% discount. The discount will be 15% in case of fuel stations providing petrol and CNG, apart from EV charging stations, 13% in case of CNG stations, 10% in case of CNG, petrol, and diesel fuel stations, and 5% in case of petrol filling stations with EV charging facilities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
