MUMBAI: Asia-Pacific airlines saw their air cargo volumes decrease by over two percent in June compared to the same month in 2021, said International Air Transport Association (IATA) in its latest air cargo report released on Wednesday.
\nOn the positive side, the two percent drop was a significant improvement over the 6.6% decline in May vs May 2021.
\nSimilarly, the global demand for cargo in June was over six percent lower than that registered in June last year, but it was an improvement over May when the decline was over 8 % as compared to May 2021.
