However, the crew diverted the aircraft to Jaipur because of rains and thundershowers in Delhi.<\/p>\n<p>An official at aviation safety regulator DGCA said that a windshield crack could happen because of multiple reasons such as bad weather, foreign object debris, improper installation but \u201can outer pane crack is not considered a safety issue\u201d. The regulator is investigating the issue.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, a GoFirst spokesperson said: \u201cToday the aircraft operating flight no. G8-151 from Delhi to Guwahati witnessed windshield crack.
