Most of these are in Kawant taluka of Chhota Udepur,\u201d a senior official from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam (GUVNL) told The Indian Express. GUVNL is the holding company of the state government that also manages the working of the four power distribution companies in the state.<\/p>\n<p>The 164 villages come under the jurisdiction of power distribution company Madhya Gujarat Vij Company Ltd (MGVCL). According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Chhota Udepur received over 166 mm rainfall in the past 24 hours.
