The reduction comes a day after finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that the excise duty on petrol and diesel has been slashed by \u20b98 per litre and \u20b96 per litre respectively.<\/p>\n<p>With the slash in excise duty, the price of petrol in the national capital Delhi reduced by \u20b98.65 per litre and diesel by \u20b97 per litre.
