Hyderabad: British EVtech startup One Moto, which plans to invest Rs 250 crore in setting up an electric two-wheelers and lithium ion battery manufacturing facility on Hyderabad\u2019s outskirts, is also looking at setting up a facility for manufacturing four-wheelers in India, a top official of the company said here on Thursday.
\nThe first phase of the two-wheeler EV facility, to be spread over 15 acres and slated to come up at Zaheerabad, is expected to become operational by early 2023.
\n\u201cWe were approached by multiple states like Telangana, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal for the EV facility but we are on track to have it in Hyderabad. The MoU is expected to be announced in the next 15 days. We are also looking at different strategic locations for a four wheeler facility,\u201d Sameer Moidin, co-founder & partner, One Moto said.
