The feat was achieved by \u2018Avni\u2019, when it tunnelled under Cauvery Emporium on MG Road, thereby crossing the Metro alignment of the Purple Line. <\/p>\n<p>On MG Road, the Metro line runs elevated with the road below, and the Undergound MG Road Metro station of the Nagawara-Kalena Agrahara line (Pink Line) will come further below the road. \u201cOn March 4, Avni began tunnelling from the South of MG Road Metro station and it drilled the 35 metres without any major hiccups,\u201d a top source said.
