There were 70 people on board the aircraft including four crew members and one aircraft maintenance engineer.<\/p>\n<p>According to an official at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the aviation safety regulator is investigating the incident. Shortly after the plane took off from Mumbai around 6.30am on Wednesday, the airport\u2019s air traffic control reported that the aircraft\u2019s engine cowl was found on the side of the runway.
