The project is being done by Mumbai Rail Vikas Corporation (MRVC) and they say that the travel time between CST and Karjat will be reduced by 25 minutes instead of the Mumbai Kalyan Karjat route.<\/p>\n<p>The total length of the Panvel Karjat route is 29.6 km and the total cost of the project is Rs 2,812 crore. The route has two flyovers and three tunnels and 44 bridges. There are five stations on route \u2014 Panvel, Chikhale, Mohape, Chowk and Karjat.
