Disposal of Ash has always been a problem for thermal power plants. BPSCL is always striving to dispose of the waste produced here in a meaningful way. Auctioning of Ash has not only helped in disposal of residues but has also brought additional financial benefits to the company. BPSCL, a joint venture between SAIL and Damodar Valley Corporation, supplies electricity and steam to SAIL&#8217;s Bokaro Steel Plant. It has ensured supply of Ash to NHAI&#8217;s road construction projects for proper disposal of its produce.
