MUMBAI: Nearly 78 per cent of housing societies surveyed in Mumbai want to set up Electric Vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure in buildings in the next three years, a survey conducted by MyGate, a community app, showed.
\nThe nationwide survey released on Thursday showed that “EV charging infrastructure was a key priority, with 57 per cent keen to invest in the coming 12 months and 21% in 1-3 years.”
\nThe survey was conducted with a set of questionnaires for resident welfare associations (RWAs) to understand the pulse of gated communities towards EV charging infrastructure facilities, solar power and rainwater harvesting.
