In a series of tweets, Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Sunday expressed his gratitude to Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar for the prompt action on reducing VAT on jet fuel.<\/p>\n<p>Scindia also noted that the decision would boost air connectivity and economic development in Haryana. \u201cWith this, Haryana becomes the eighth state\/UT to slash the tax rate after Andaman &amp; Nicobar Islands, J&amp;K, Ladakh, HP, Uttarakhand, MP and Tripura,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Scindia has been requesting states to reduce taxes on jet fue. With the current tax structure on the ATF, \u201cyou cannot have a robust civil aviation sector.
