Delhi\u2019s transport minister Kailash Gahlot had recently told TOI that the Aam Aadmi Party government had approved and recommended a six-month extension for Singh to the Union ministry of housing and urban affairs. <\/p>\n<p>An order issued on Wednesday by the Delhi government\u2019s transport department stated that in accordance with the provisions of Article 130 of the Memorandum and Article of Association of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited, and after obtaining concurrence of the Union ministry of housing and urban affairs, Delhi government is \u2018pleased to extend the tenure\u2019 of Singh.
