Billionaire Anil Agarwal\u2019s Vedanta group as well as two US funds \u2014 Apollo Global and I Squared Capital \u2013 had last year submitted initial bids to buyout the government\u2019s entire 52.98 per cent stake in India\u2019s third-biggest oil refiner and second-largest fuel retailer.<\/p>\n<p>Detailing the \u2018Next Step\u2019, the \u2018Brief Note on BPCL Disinvestment\u2019 said Transaction Advisor and Asset Valuer are to submit an inception report, bidders have to complete due diligence of the company and sale purchase agreement has to be finalised.
