Over the last year, flights to and from Tier-2 cities have shown a considerable increase at Mumbai airport, keeping in mind the current trends of work and leisure.<\/p>\n<p>A Mumbai International Airport Ltd spokesperson said to TOI that, till July, this year, 64% of passengers that were travelling through Mumbai airport were coming from or going to a Tier-2 city.
