The protest was held despite the Chandigarh Administration announcing \u201cno pay no work\u201d for this protest by employees.<\/p>\n<p>During the strike, however, there were no major complaints of any power cuts throughout the city. Six major employees\u2019 federations and organisations of UT and MC had earlier jointly submitted a demand letter to the Chandigarh Administration on the major demands of the employees and sought a meeting to solve the problems of the employees.
