Diesel was retailing at \u20b9100.05 a litre in Ganganagar in Rajasthan, after the state-run oil marketing companies (OMCs) raised the transportation fuel prices on Saturday. <\/p>\n<p>In comparison, petrol was selling at \u20b9107.22 per litre at Ganganagar. With state run OMCs raising petrol and diesel prices in Delhi on Saturday, petrol and diesel was selling at record highs of \u20b996.12 per litre and \u20b986.98 per litre, respectively, in the national capital at Indian Oil Corporation Ltd outlets. <\/p>\n<p>After remaining benign, petrol and diesel prices have spiked by \u20b95.72 per litre and \u20b96.25 per litre, respectively, since the results for the Assembly elections in West Bengal, Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry were announced on 2 May.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NEW DELHI: In a first, diesel prices have followed petrol prices in breaching the \u20b9100 mark.
