Petrol costs \u20b986.79, also an all-time high, and is expected to cross the \u20b987 mark in a couple of days.<\/p>\n<p>The fuel prices have gone up by around \u20b97 since January 1, when petrol cost \u20b980.35 and diesel \u20b973.58. Before 2021, petrol had never gone beyond the \u20b981 mark.<\/p>\n<p>A similar trend is being seen in Mohali and Panchkula. Fuel remains costliest in Mohali, with petrol at \u20b992.09 and diesel at \u20b983.15.
