These alterations will be applicable from April 1, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAn agriculture Infrastructure and Development Cess (AIDC) of Rs 2.5 per litre has been imposed on petrol and Rs 4 per litre on diesel\u2026Overall there would be no additional burden on the consumer,\u201d the annexure to Sitharaman\u2019s budget speech noted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Basic excise duty (BED) and Special Additional Excise Duty (SAED) rates have been reduced on them so that overall consumer does not bear any additional burden.
