This also comes in the backdrop of Reserve Bank of India\u2019 January bulletin stating a strengthening economic recovery and comparing the revival to a \u201cphoenix-like&#8221; rise.<\/p>\n<p>Energy consumption, especially that of electricity and refinery products, is usually linked to overall demand in the economy. The Friday\u2019 record power demand comes in the backdrop of other economic indicators such as refineries, GST collections, and railway freight witnessing a revival.
