Assam finance minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma said, \u201cAll the additional duties levied during the COVID-19 pandemic will be withdrawn while I will present the vote on account.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As Assam is likely to go for assembly polls in April, the state government instead of a full budget is likely to present vote on account in the state assembly next month. In May last year, Assam increased excise duty on Indian made foreign liquor (IMFL) by 25%.
