Among the companies that have evinced immediate or long term interest are the likes of electric two wheeler company Ampere, now a subsidiary of Greaves Cotton, e-two wheeler major Okinawa and swappable battery and charging infrastructure company SUN Mobility.<br \/>\n\u201cWe are talking to several electric vehicle manufacturers for investment including Ampere,\u201d said N Muruganandam, principal secretary, government of Tamil Nadu.<br \/>\nAmpere is planning to invest around Rs 400 crore for a 2,50,000 unit expansion in electric wheeler production capacity. The company\u2019s current capacity is around 50,000 units per annum. Ampere will finalise the decision on the investment depending on the incentive package on offer by the government. \u201cWe remain committed to invest at the right opportunity and grow the business.
