MUMBAI: SpiceJet passengers in India and UAE can now undergo Covid-19 RT-PCR at their home by booking an appointment online, said the low cost airline which has tied up with VFS to facilitate this service.
\nAs the Covid-19 negative test report has become mandatory for passengers, especially for international travel, there are rising apprehensions among travellers regarding the entire process of complying with various pre-travel requirements, said the airline. “SpiceJet passengers can book the Covid-19 RT-PCR test using the appointment booking service offered by VFS Global. The Covid-19 RT-PCR test is commonly referred to as the confirmatory test for Covid-19,” it said. The service is currently available for customers in India and the UAE, but the airline said it plans to roll it out for other countries very soon.
\nTo book the test, customers can visit SpiceJet\u2019s website at (www.spicejet.com) and avail the service under the \u2018Add-ons\u2019 section. To initiate the booking process one needs to click on the \u2018Book now\u2019 button and follow a few simple steps to book an appointment.
