The new schedule has been approved at 60 per cent of the capacity that airlines were flying in the pre-Covid period. Accordingly, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has cleared a schedule for 12,983 weekly domestic flights covering 95 airports in winter 2020-21 &#8211; down 44.3% from 23,307 in winter 2019-20. Globally, airlines follow a winter and summer schedule.<\/p>\n<p>As per the schedule released by the DGCA, SpiceJet will have 54.7 per cent fewer weekly departures during winter schedule 2020-21 at 1957 as against 4316 previously.
