A large rural area of Mayureswar development block is served by the power station. Officials said the transformer would be replaced by Friday to restore normal supply.<br \/>\nDebashish Saha, a social worker in Sainthia, said they had requested power department to make alternative arrangements till then. \u201cThere are a number of oil and rice mills in Sainthia.
