Pre-construction work on the much awaited project has begun.<\/p>\n<p>On the lines of \u2018American standards\u2019, \u2018streetscaping, beautification and road redesigning\u2019 will cover 500 km of 162 stretches. The estimated cost of civil construction for the proposed 500-km is around Rs 5,000 crore. The makeover is one of the poll promises of the Arvind Kejriwal government.
