Located in Juhu Aerodrome, the Club had about two months back sought the regulator\u2019s approval for conducting pilot training using remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) systems. The aviation ministry and DGCA have given a conditional approval for the same.<br \/>\nThe conditions include getting all required security clearances from various agencies like home and defence ministries, local authorities and Airports Authority of India. \u201cThe Bombay Flying Club shall ensure that hazardous material are not carried in the RPA under any circumstances\u2026 (Drone) shall not be operated near the airport\u2026. Club shall ensure safety, security and privacy public,\u201d the conditions state.<br \/>\nThe 1928-founded Bombay Flying Club has played a critical role in evolution of Indian aviation.
