The Canada-based investment fund, which owns 25 million square feet of commercial space in the country, was the sole bidder in an auction held on Friday, sources said.<\/p>\n<p>Brookfield will pay around Rs 29,000 per square foot for around 170,000 square feet of office space in Jet Airways\u2019 Godrej building. According to real estate experts, the price quoted by Brookfield (which was also the auction reserve price) is fair given the current market conditions. Brookfield declined to comment.
