Officials said that the new connection will be provided within two weeks after the application is filled online.<\/p>\n
The chief engineer of the Noida division of power utility Pashchimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (PVVNL), Virendra Nath Singh said that earlier this scheme, called \u201cjhatpat\u201d, was only for domestic and commercial consumers. \u201cBut now, the jhatpat online connection\u2019s link is available on the portal of UPPCL, www.uppcl.org, for entrepreneurs too. It will not only save their time, but will also make the whole system paperless,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
