Petrol and diesel prices were increased by 60 paise per litre each on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Accordingly, the petrol and diesel price in Delhi touched \u20b974 per litre and \u20b972.22 per litre respectively. Transportation fuel prices in India have been on an upward trajectory in the background of country\u2019 petroleum product demand doubling in May. Since Sunday, petrol and diesel prices have been increased by \u20b92.74 per litre and \u20b92.83 per litre respectively.<\/p>\n<p>This comes in the backdrop of Indian economy limping back to normalcy after the world\u2019s strictest lockdown.
