There has been a growing demand to bring a flood protocol to maintain the water level in dams to avoid a 2018-like situation. However, Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) which manages 57 dams is not panicky.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have a \u2018Rule Curve\u2019 to maintain the water level in dams and an emergency action plan approved by the Central Water Commission. According to the rule curve, we have to maintain a fixed water level every 10 days and the full storage level can be achieved only on November 30.
