STMicroelectronics, a global electronics and semiconductor player, has presence in India, too.<\/p>\n<p>Sources told BusinessLine that the multinational has a \u201cfinancial commitment\u201d, but did give more details. Both STMicroelectronics and AMU will bring parts of their home-grown technologies to the projects, but it is not yet clear as to what each will contribute.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Imprint\u2019 initiative <\/p>\n<p>The project is under the Imprint-2 initiative of the Department of Science and Technology.
