NEW DELHI: Vistara has taken delivery of its first wide body Boeing 787 Dreamliner and will deploy it on medium haul international routes by April. The Tata Group-Singapore Airlines (SIA) JV\u2019s B787-9 will be the first aircraft of an Indian carrier to offer inflight WiFi. It will have 299 seats in three-class cabins \u2014 business, premium economy and economy cabins.
\nThe business class will have lie-flat business class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, giving direct aisle access to each business class passenger, and a separate premium economy cabin with seats in 2-3-2 configuration. Vistara Dreamliners will have in-seat TVs in all three cabins with HD display offering in-flight entertainment system by Panasonic and in-flight WiFi internet connectivity onboard long-haul international flights.
\nVistara has ordered six B787-9 and will get delivery of the second one soon. The first aircraft will reach India at 2 pm on Saturday (February 29).
