Fuel rates started falling in India since January 12 after hitting this year&#8217;s high a day before. On 11 January, petrol retailed at \u20b976.01 in New Delhi and diesel \u20b969.17. Since then, petrol price has fallen by \u20b92.97 paise a litre and diesel price by \u20b93.08.<\/p>\n<p>State-run fuel retailers, however, chose not to decrease the price today after five days of consecutive rate cuts.<\/p>\n<p>In New Delhi, a litre of petrol today costs \u20b973.04 and diesel \u20b966.09. In Mumbai, a litre of petrol comes at a price of \u20b978.69 a litre and diesel \u20b969.27 a litre.
