Domestic petrol and diesel prices are reviewed by oil marketing companies on a daily basis.<\/p>\n<p>In Mumbai, petrol today retailed at \u20b979.47 a litre and diesel at \u20b970.19 a litre. In Chennai, petrol prices were cut to \u20b976.71 a litre and diesel to \u20b970.73 a litre. In Kolkata, petrol and diesel prices were at \u20b976.48 a lite and \u20b969.32 a litre respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Retail fuel prices in India is dependent on the international crude prices and the rupee-US dollar exchange rate.
