MUMBAI: Insolvent Jet Airways\u2019 bidder Synergy Group on Thursday told the NCLT\u2019s Mumbai bench that it would make an offer when critical issues relating to domestic airport slots and those at London Heathrow were resolved.
\nThe South American group\u2019s representative also said that it is looking for an Indian partner. It added that it will seek to form a new company, free of liabilities associated with erstwhile Jet Airways.
\nThe NCLT bench will next hear the matter on January 8, 2020. The resolution professional (RP) of Jet Airways Ashish Chhawchharia had informed the tribunal that until now two investors have shown interest in the airline.
\nThe NCLT bench observed that 180 days of insolvency were over on December 15 and currently lenders were working on an extension of 90 days.
