In Chennai, a litre of petrol is charged at \u20b977.81 and diesel costs \u20b969.81.<\/p>\n<p>Petrol price on December 9 touched \u20b975 a litre for the first time in more than a year as international oil firms hiked rates. Fuel prices have been on a hike since November 9.
