The ATO will train Vistara\u2019s pilots as per the DGCA certification process and enable them to fly the Indian carrier\u2019s Dreamliners without any delay.<br \/>\n\u201cVistara is likely to start getting the B787-9 from February 2020. At present, pilot training facility for this type of aircraft is only available with Air India but they don\u2019t have spare capacity to train pilots of other airlines in their ATO for B787. Setting up their own simulator and other required pilot-training facility for this type of aircraft will take about 2-3 years.
