It expects Andhra, Telangana and Haryana to take a lead in road sector projects, together contributing half the total investment expected in the next 10 years in this segment. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese states are expected to take the lead because their base is lower,\u201d said Vivek Sharma, senior director at CIA. <\/p>\n<p>The projection for overall infrastructure is more than double the Rs 100 trillion the BJP in its election manifesto had promised to invest in this over the next five years. <\/p>\n<p>The agency has categorised states into three categories. Gujarat, Karnataka and Maharashtra are termed front-runners; Andhra, Telangana and Haryana are among those in the middle-of-the-pack.
