The flight landed uneventfully and cabin crew noticed the crack during the post-flight check. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) probed this issue and the window was changed on Tuesday.<br \/>\nThe regulator Tweeted on Wednesday night: \u201cOn October 17, 2019, SpiceJet Boeing B737-800 aircraft (VT-SYG) operated SG-6438. This was the fifth sector of the day for the aircraft\u2026. (This) flight was uneventful. However, during post-flight (check), the cabin crew made an entry: \u2018Observed crack in viewing pane of window shade and reveal assembly of seat 25F\u2019.\u201d<br \/>\nSpiceJet, under its acceptable deferred defect (ADD) policy, decided to replace within 90 days.
