It lengthened check-in queues, delayed flights across airports and left many passengers stranded for hours.<br \/>\nIn Mumbai, the country\u2019s second busiest airport, the effect was compounded by the eight-hour main runway closure that began as scheduled at 9.30am. \u201cIndiGo systems failure occurred barely a few minutes after work began on the main runway and flight operations were moved to the secondary runway,\u2019\u2019 said an air traffic controller.<br \/>\n\u201cOur systems are down across the network since morning.
