Giving wings to the dreams of flying and making a positive impact on the minds and lives of 130 under-privileged children, private carrier Jet Airways operated a special hour-long flight for them, which took off from the Indira Gandhi International Airport here. <\/p>\n
The special flight, ‘Flight of Fantasy’ was operated in collaboration with two-three NGOs including cricketer Yuvraj Singh-run YouWeCan and city-based SDMC Primary School among others to give wings to the children’s dreams, Jet Airways said in a release. <\/p>\n
The special guests had a memorable experience as the state of the art Boeing 737-800 aircraft took off from the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA), New Delhi yesterday afternoon. <\/p>\n
“The ‘Flight of Fantasy’ is our humble contribution towards making a positive impact on the minds and lives of these children. The smiles that lit up their faces during the flight is our true reward,” Jet Airways chief executive Cramer Ball said. <\/p>\n
The operations of this special flight is in keeping with Jet Airways’ focus on supporting community initiatives related to education and development of children, he said. <\/p>\n
