Tehri Pumped Storage Plant (PSP) of 1,000 MW capacity will start electricity generation by December 2021. All four units of the project will be commissioned by June 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Chairman and managing director of THDC India Limited, DV Singh inaugurated erection work of first generating unit of Tehri PSP in the presence of engineers from THDC, HCC and GE Power. GE Power, France is the leader of the GE-HCC consortium which is main contractor for this upcoming plant.
