India is the world\u2019s third-largest oil importer.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, India has the capacity to meet about 12 days\u2019 of the country\u2019s crude oil requirement. While India&#8217;s strategic oil reserve in Vishakhapatnam has a storage capacity of 1.33 million tonnes, Mangaluru has 1.5 MT, and Padur has 2.5 MT.
