{"id":291193,"date":"2019-09-11T06:27:59","date_gmt":"2019-09-11T06:27:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/infralive.com\/web\/?p=291193"},"modified":"2019-09-11T06:27:59","modified_gmt":"2019-09-11T06:27:59","slug":"government-allocates-badam-coal-block-to-ntpc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/infralive.com\/web\/government-allocates-badam-coal-block-to-ntpc\/","title":{"rendered":"Government allocates Badam coal block to NTPC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NEW DELHI: NTPC on Tuesday said the coal ministry has transferred Badam coal block, located in Jharkhand, to the company.<\/p>\n<p>The coal block , earlier allocated to Bihar State Power Generation Company (BSPGCL), has been given to NTPC after it acquired the Barauni thermal plant from BSPGCL in December 2018, NTPC said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>With this coal block, NTPC currently possesses 10 coal blocks &#8212; Pakri Barwadih, Chatti Bariatu (including Chatti Bariatu-South), Kerandari, Dulanga, Talaipalli, Bhalumuda, Banai, Mandakini-B, Badam and Banhardih (being developed by PVUNL, a JV company of NTPC &amp; state Govt of Jharkhand) coal blocks with a total estimated geological reserves of over 7.3 Billion Tonnes &amp; production potential of about 113 Million Tonnes Per Annum.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NEW DELHI: NTPC on Tuesday said the coal ministry has transferred Badam coal block, located in Jharkhand, to the company.
