The post was lying vacant after the superannuation of DK Ghosh , and NN Thakur Director (Finance) NCL was given additional charge of CCL. Agarwal was working as General Manager(Finance) in BCCL, another subsidiary of Coal India , prior to taking over the new role in CCL.  <\/p>\n<p>As a rich tradition of the company, a mega function was organized at Vichar Manch, CCL Darbhanga House, Ranchi to honour Niranjan Kumar Agarwal  by CMD CCL Gopal Singh by presenting shawl, shreephal and bouquets. Director(Personnel) R S Mahapatro, Director(Tech\/Operations)  V K Srivastava, and Director(Projects &amp; Planning) Sri Bhola  Singh also presented bouquets to  Niranjan Kumar Agarwal.
