NEW DELHI: IndiGo has sent its reply to the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) on the clarifications sought by the market regulator following a litany of complaints from the airline\u2019s co-founder and promoter Rakesh Gangwal. \u201cWe are sending the reply to Sebi and will respond to the corporate affairs ministry by the end of next week,\u201d said IndiGo CEO Ronojoy Dutta (Rono) said.
\nThe airline\u2019s board met on Friday and will do so on Saturday also. \u201cWe are discussing a whole range of issues (referring to the issues raised by Rahul Bhatia-Gangwal spat). The regulatory requirement of appointing an independent woman director will be met very soon. That requires amending the articles of association and should be done by Saturday,\u201d he said. The airline will expand its board.
